After two previous scrubbed launches, Boeing’s Starliner is set for its third attempt to send two NASA astronauts into space. The spacecraft is scheduled to lift off from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and the event will be livestreamed on NASA’s YouTube channel.

The Starliner, assisted by the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket, will carry flight commander Butch Wilmore and pilot Sunita Williams to the International Space Station. They will dock for about a week to evaluate the spacecraft’s performance.

The first launch attempt in May was delayed due to a faulty oxygen relief valve on the ULA Atlas V rocket’s second stage. The second attempt on June 1st was canceled just minutes before takeoff because of issues with one of the ULA’s ground computers. The problem has since been identified and the faulty ground power chassis has been replaced.

Tune in to watch this critical mission and see if Boeing’s Starliner successfully completes its journey to the International Space Station.
